I've been wanting to do this build for a while and been gathering parts. Since it's Memorial Day weekend thought it would be a good time to finish it.

Vietnam era handguard, buttstock and grip. Everything else is new. After 5-6 rounds to get it sighted in, the photo is a 10 shot group at 50 yards (one flyer in the 8 ring)

Nice Job. Something about those old lines just looks "right". Where did you source the handguard and stock if ya don't mind saying?

Nice A2 but you need to throw some A2 furniture on it and build yourself a genuine A1 now!

guy in Ohio had some on eBay, contacted him about putting together the set and we made the deal via text (with photos)
