This is a question I should have asked before. But I picked up an Aero Precision lower for a really good price today. Now, I did watch and read some reviews and it seems the consensus is that they make a good product that doesn't have any more issues than any other manufacturers. Anyone have any serious issues with these?

Aero Precision is definitely good to go.

I recently scored an Aero upper receiver from an EE retailer for $79 shipped.

good lower, good value. Lots of sales if you buy direct. Some people have reported problems with the 308 stuff. I consider them my go to.

Build numbers 5 and 6 have matched upper and lower sets bought direct from aero for $150

Thanks for the feedback. Got this one for $75 out the door. Can't see anything wrong that could make it a blem. But will have to wait til I get other parts to check fit.

I have quite a few and have had no fitment issues with any of them.  They are great lowers and very reasonably price.

No, no serious issues.
Aero has really upped their game the past 2 years. This is an aerospace company "Aero Precision" that had extensive experience in precision manufacturing, and probably has some principal, owner,  or obnoxious employee who pushed them into AR15 parts as the Aerospace industry redistributed.

Their matched upper/lower receiver sets have great fit.
I build with them as my Go To.   Quality, reliable, affordable, Mil Spec , I don't have to explain flaws or problem solve basic things.

I had one upper with a loose fit, It would have functioned fine, but it failed my fitment test. No problem. I sent it back and it was replaced without any argument.

I want to work for them when I retire into my part time job.  Whenever the heck that would be

Thanks again for the replies. One of the reasons I decided to get this lower is the fact it has an adjustment screw to tighten up any play between upper and lower. With the tolerances built into MilSpec, it seems like a good idea.

I can admit I bought my first aero because I wanted a cheap lower and the roll mark was the least obnoxious of my short list.

I'm glad I did though, my next aero lower will probably be one of their funny ones.

I have never used the adjustment screw myself but none of my builds have been overly loose and that's not a big concern for me.  I like that they are finished nicely, has a good low key roll mark, slightly flared magwell and the rear take down detent channel is threaded for a screw.

Mega's are my favorite... then Aero.  They are great lowers especially for a cheap $75-85 price tag

Not a fan of the huge roll marks on most of the cheaper lowers either. The Aero isn't too bad. But I still plan to fill the large logos prior to cerakote or possibly paint. By the time I'm done, you won't be able to tell they were ever there.

Just updated the lower in my go-to stick, just waiting for the Fostech Echo trigger to be available...

I went through my stripped lowers today, and I have Spike's, Anderson, Anderson w/trigger guard, Range Tool, and Aero. I've already got a Spike's and Anderson built so I'm going with the Aero this time.

After living in WA for a while and seeing their products locally, in the shops and buddies' safes/ranges, I was sold. Fit and finish in my upper/lower set is tight (haven't yet adjusted set screw), finish is nice clean and even, and the flared magwell was a huge bonus . . . based on forged vs billet. I can't be happier.

I thought the old rollmark and the faux GI roll were much nicer and cleaner-looking:

I just finished my first build with an upper/lower set I scored from Aero for $130 a while back. Haven't had a chance to fully test, but fit and finish are excellent.

2 lowers, 3 uppers.  300 BO, 223, 9mm.  I use a QC10 lower on my 9mm.

2 more M4E1 uppers with hand guards incoming this summer for 458 SOCOM and 6.5 Grendel.  I dont mind swapping lowers around a little if needed.  I might purchase another lower, havent decided yet.

Good stuff, buy with confidence.
