I just finished another Kryptek AR Build. The base is Stainless, with Magpul OD Green and Armor Black. I'm not completely sold on the color combination. I may try to go back at darken the stainless a little...

I say darken the stainless just a bit

Take the lighter color in the camo, and kind of lightly blend in some the edges of the Kryptek, then do the same very lightly with the darker color.

Myself, I'd go darker. I prefer a more stealth like paint scheme and think the silver is pretty bright. Nicely executed

What are you using for stencils and what type of finish is it?

I used vinyl stencils with a backer. It is Cerakote C series applied with an air brush.

I decided to darken it a bit by air brushing over with armor black.
The stainless is darker, even though it doesn't show well in the pics
