Vendor keeps sending me wrong roll pin... Packages are labeled right but the contents seem to be gas block roll pins.
https://goo.gl/photos/G4A8mF71Fqy9Krdv5 Doubting this will be resolved any time soon, I am thnking just reuse the old one. Any issues with this? |
| No reason not to, if it is not mushroomed, I just bought a roll pin kit and keep it on the bench so I always have roll pins when I need them. But again, if it is not out of shape there is no reason not to use it. You can get a kit with over 300 pins for less than $20 bucks. |

Trigger guard isn't a critical failure point. If it falls out while fending off a horde of zombies, it isn't going to stop the weapon from functioning. It's purpose is to prevent foreign objects (straps on your gear, tree branches, etc.) from getting to the trigger and causing an accidental discharge.
If you're really worried, take the old one to the local auto parts supply or farm supply store. You can probably get around 20 or so of them for what you've paid for just one labeled as a firearms part. |
