I did a thread on my build a few month ago but have since done some upgrades.  Nothing was wrong with the other parts I just wanted to make the build more special, for lack of a better term.  As an example, I had a Rousch gas block, tube and compensator.  They were great parts and the price was unbeatable, but you will see what I have upgraded to in the list below.

Lower:
Andersons Mulical Lower
PSA MOE LPK w/ Wolff Trigger Springs
PSA Buffer Tube Kit
MFT Minimalist Stock
V7 Ultra-light EZ Pull pins
Magpul BAD

Upper:
Andersons NOFA Upper
Green Mountain 20" Fluted .223 Wylde Barrel
ALG Defense EMR V1
Wilson Combat BCG
CMMG Charging Handle w/ MAS Defense G2 Latch
YHM Black Rifle Length Gas Tube
V7 Ti Fluted LP Gas Block
V7 Ti A2 Compensator

Accessories:
SWFA 12x42 SS Mrad scope w/ Aero Precision Mount
Holosun Paralow HS403A Red Dot
Magpul 10rd G3 Mags
ETS Polymer Smoked 10/30 Mags
ATI Feather Weight Bipod

Parts Review: (any parts unmentioned are still fine parts, I didn't bother writing about them to keep this from being to long.  I recommend all of the parts listed above.)
- Every thing fit perfect with the upper and lower receivers (AM is a great value company, you get more than you pay for).
- PSA makes fantastic Mil-spec LPKs (they are also a get more than you pay for company).
- The trigger is amazing for a standard Mil-spec trigger. There is zero take-up, with the stock springs there is no creep but the wolf springs create about 1mm, no noticeable stacking, pull is light (probably around 4lbs) thanks to the spring kit, there is almost no over travel (maybe 1 or 2mm) and a light, short reset.
- The MFT stock is excellent, keeps the rifle firm against the shoulder with no slip. Fits snug on the buffer tube and is very light but still well balanced.
- The barrel is excellent and very accurate, 2lbs is pretty light for 20 inches of steal.
- The EMR was easy to install and is very solid, I have not seen it flex once, not even a little.  The finish is tough and almost impossible to scratch.
- The V7 parts are like art work.  They installed with ease, look fantastic and work like they should.  I want my next built to be 100% V7.
-The scopes are both great.  The SWFA glass is clear as day, I haven't taken it out to the range yet but I shot another guys rifle with a 10x42. that's why I bought the one I have.  The Holosun is built tough, has many notable features and Holosun is another get more than you pay for company.
- The last item I will make a note for is the ATI Feather Weight Bipod is only 6 oz and very durable.  At 9" it is very stable, as stable as any other bipod, when
extended to 13" it is a but wobbly but still durable and fine for .223/5.56.  I wouldn't use this on a .308 or bigger  though.
- I thought the ETS mags would be flimsy and a gimmick, but they are solid, tough and work as well as the Pmags. No malfunctions yet with either magazine.

Over all I think I have built an excellent rifle.  I have had zero malfunctions as of yet and it is more accurate than I am.

Here are the 2 dresses she wears.

I was experimenting with eye relief and that was where I liked it.  I felt the end of the upper receiver rail was little close, my eye focuses better on the dot and gives a wider view with both eyes open at that distance.  Just a preference thing.

As for accuracy, I haven't done any true accuracy tests.  All I have shot so far was 55gr FMJ .223 remanufactured Orca ammo and have been more breaking in/plinking with it.  I just got some Blackhills 77gr BTHP and Hornady 75gr Superformance .223 and next time I go out I plan to se what I can group with the 2 heavier bullets. I will keep you all posted.  I am tryng to go this weekend.

Verdict is in, barrel accuracy is excellent and the scope is top notch.  I wasn't really going for groups initially, I was tuning the scope in, that's why some of the groups are off center. I just happened to notice after the 2nd set of 3 round groups that they were landing pretty tight so I started noting which ones were groups. I shot a full mag of 10 rounds and then put up the shoot-n-c targets so the barrel was not cold when I started.

And here are the results:

In case it's hard to read here are the numbers:
1st - 1.26 MOA
2nd - .756 MOA
3rd - .87 MOA
4th - .6066 MOA
5th - one shot in the center
Average - .873

- 20" .223 Wylde GM
- Black Hills Remanufactured .223 77gr BTHP

Weather
Temp (F): 59 degrees
Humidity: 86
Wind (Average for the day): 7mph
Wind (Gusts): 12mph

The top right is the first set. I chalked up the wider spread to wind, there were gusts up to 12mph and I could see the paper moving around a little. The top left are the second and third groups (you can see one round in the lower set that was my wife missing the middle target really bad), the bottom left is the 4th and the lower right is the last shot of the day. I took the shot, expecting to fire 2 more rounds, right before the range officer called ceasefire. At that point I had to leave since my wife had to go to work. That last shot, I was calm, the wind was calm, the scope was aligned, I had the shot and took it, bulls-eye (well, just outside but it touched the orange circle). Even though it was only one shot I would say this is an extremely accurate rifle. Not bad for a first build. The middle and the few shots off the targets where my wife's, her first time shooting a rifle, not first time shooting a gun though. She is a pretty good shot for a newer shooter.

I think with no wind, better ammo (the Black Hills 5.56 Factory New 77gr BTFP), and a little trigger work (or an upgrade to a 2 stage) I could be shooting under .5 MOA all day long. I wasn't to fond of the ammo.  My issue was the powder, it was not clean.  My rifle was 3 times as dirty than when I shot twice as much of Orca Remanufactured 55gr. The smoke was so bad a few times it made my wife cough. It wasn't coming back into the face, it was just dirty grey smoke coming from the ejection port. Also, the powder was inconsistent, I could tell when my wife was shooting the case trajectory and the smoke was different every 4 rounds or so. I would still say it's great ammo for the price though.

A few other things:
- I got a riser and mounted the red dot at 45 degrees using the short base, neat little setup.  Didn't get a chance to practice with the red dot though.
- The ATI bipod was very disappointing. There was minimal grip so the rifle kept sliding back even with a solid shoulder position, It is not very sturdy, and I do not recommend it for anything over .22lr. I will be swapping back to my Cadwell which worked much, much better.
-Everything else on the rifle is fabulous.  The only real issue I ran into was the trigger pin walking, I foresee some non-rotating pins in my future.

My favorite parts that I highly recommend
- ALG handguard is rock solid and does not bend at all, the finish is surprisingly durable, and it was very simple to install.
- GM barrel is extremely accurate.
- SWFA scope is the clearest I have had my eyes in and is easy to adjust.
- MFT stock is light, well balanced, holds firm and comfortable against the shoulder.
- Aero Precision scope mount is beautiful, crazy light, perfect height and easy to install.
- V7 gas block and muzzle devise are titanium, crazy light, have durable coatings and are just all around nice pieces.

I forgot to mention that was at 100 yards (obviously, just wanted to make sure it was clear).  Since that was kind of an on the fly test of accuracy next time I go to the range I will spend more time and get some more conclusive results.  But I am pretty sure it will still average under 1 MOA. One thing I want to test is the scope, need to do a box test.

The guy next to me also had a .223 but it was a polymer bolt action, didn't catch the brand.  He couldn't get on paper at 100 yards.  He was even having a hard time at 50 yards.  I bet he had a low end scope, cheap scope rings, and I know he was shooting PMC 55gr FMJ, not very accurate, especially with it being a little windy.  And the guy next to him was shooting a 300 Win Mag.  WOW, that things went
BOOM

.  I want one. At $1 a round he only shot about $20 rounds. The rifle kicked so much the stock would shove his shoulder back and bounce 3 or 4 inches forward off his shoulder.
