I'm going to be Cerakoting (or GunKoting) most of the small parts for my next build. I thought about doing the gas block but wanted to get opinions before I did. I'll be running suppressed on .300 BLK. Will heat be an issue? Has anyone done this before successfully?

i cerakote my gas blocks, no issues, Gunkote i'd avoid

Blocks are readily sold that are Cerakoted. What makes you think it would become an issue?

Use high temp cerakote and you'll be fine.  



If the color black is OK then you can also get a can of aersol VHT ceramic header paint and use that.
