Also, keep in mind that the Vortex is not made to be used with any kind of washer. Be sure to grease the threads as well. |

If you are using a very short wrench you can get to 5-10 foot pounds. |

I shot one of mine only hand tight and the thing does tighten as you shoot. Had to use a wrench to take off it later in the day as it was exceedingly tighter than when I had just installed it.
