Looking at possibly purchasing one of these for my next build. Their coating aside does anyone know if the actual bolt is c158 or 9310 ?

Google search has not revealed any info.

FWIW, I have several carriers (steel and titanium) which have the nitride treatment.  Very smooth and easy to clean.  Surface hardness and durability is superior to any plating such as NiB or industrial chrome. - CW

At Primary Arms' $100 sale price, it is kind of a no-brainer. FZ uses C158 for their bolts and all of mine show quality machining. There are a lot of nay sayers that believe mil spec phosphate coated BCGs are the way to go but NiB runs longer with less lube so given the options, I choose (correctly manufactured)  NiB/nitride every time.

Lots of positive comments on Fail Zero and Toolcraft for nickel boron carriers. After much research, i ended up going with WMD. Check out their site for as detailed of a description as it gets on their product. I have found full synthetic motor to be the key to ease of clean without parts staining. Don't run anything dry. That is marketing bs.
