Does anyone make a bipod that attaches directly to a key mod rail. Like this MI gen 2. I want something that can be detached quickly.

Daniel Defense and Ergo both make keymod to swing swivel adapters. Get a Harris quick release bipod and you're there.
Or put a short rail section on on the bottom, and use something like a GG&G quick release bipod adapter on it, and a non quick release Harris bipod. I picked up a like new Harris bipod last year for under $40, I have the GG&G adapter on the FAL and it works great. Edit: you've already got a sling swivel there, use that. Just detatch the sling and hook a Harris bipod. Takes just a few seconds to change over, worst case a minute. I usually edit my toes out of my gun pron :) |

Mount a 5-slot picatinny rail to the front of the hand guard and you then have a wide range of choices in bipods. I have the Midwest Industries quick detach bipod mount

I have a Noveske and an Impact Weapons Components KeyMod bipod adapter and two Harris bipods that I can quickly attach and detach. I prefer the IWC as I think it mounts slightly better as it uses a snap ring and can be rotated into the correct position. The Noveske one just screws into a backing plate and you're left at the mercy of the thickness of your rail and the threads cut in the nut to ensure that the holes for the mount line up where you want them. Had to buy a few extra nuts from them to make sure I had one that would line up properly.
