Considering picking up a Tom's Tactical Lower Build Kit but haven't been able to find much in the way of a review or opinions on them. Looking for something in a price point similar to PSA build kits (Magpul CTR stock, MOE grip).

After much comparison shopping, agonizing, and frettin, I recently picked up 2 LBKs from Tom's. One was the Black hawk Stock for $100, and the other was the CTR for $150.
My first build, but I was not dissatisfied in the least. All went together very well. Couple things, the grip is MOE and I would have preferred MOE+, just bought one from PA for $15. Also, the Black anodizing on the safety selector and the mag release didn't quite match my aero precision lower. Other than those two really small gripes...GTG !! YMMV |
| If I could adda question, how is the quality of the telestock on this kit? I have seen some real that feel real "cheap" and some that feel quite solid. I wasn't going to use a collapsing stock, but am considering now that my granddaughter is coming of shooting age and it would hel her with LOP |

YMMV Safety selectors are parkerized steel so will never match; I've never has a build where the anodization on the magazine release matched, not something that I've every heard anyone bring up as a point. |
