Putting together a lower and shot the pivot pin spring and detent across the room. Thought it went behind the TV. Walked over saw the spring and the detent about 4" away from it. It's a miracle.

Only use the clevis pin now. Had one launch strait up, ricochet off the ceiling into the shop light and then fell right in front of me on a towel I lay out when working with small parts like this or on carbs. Landed right in front of me! I laughed then thought... There has to be a better way.... And where did I put those damn safety glasses???

Plastic bag trick is well worth the small amount of effort.



I use a 1 gallon zip-lock.




I've spent plenty of time looking for springs.  Found most of them too.

I was using the clevis pin . It just slipped off.
