| Picked up one of these to replace the KAC rail I had installed. Exactly how do you put the FSP taper pins back in? I have the Brownells bench block but can't use it due to the rail. Am I just being super dense and overlooking something? |

Taper pins have to be driven in before you place in the 6 screws to secure the locking collar to the rail. The rail is literally free floating while performing this step.
Make sure you put some padding between the barrel and the rail when driving in the pins. And the pins do NOT have to be driven in to the point of peening the heads--if you do this, you will be stretching the pin holes to the point of potentially damaging the bore of the barrel. HTH Quoted:
