Never mind. I see it listed on the Brownells website as Daniel Defense. It also states it requires drilling and pinning in the description.
Front Sight Base CNC machined from 4140 steel, then a Salt Bath Nitride finish applied. Rear of base is serrated to reduce glare. Front sight base fits .625" gas block shoulders. Requires drilling and pinning to barrel. Includes base only. |

thanks for the help guys, ive decided to stick with the traditional fsb my barrel is already drilled for. it will be on the ee soon Unless you are talking about the FSB you took off, you will not get another "traditional" FSB to fit the holes that are already on your barrel. If you find a FSB with holes already drilled, it was removed from another barrel, and the chances of them lining up are almost nil. Get a clamp on or set screw style gas block or FSB, or send your current new one to be professionally installed. |
| You can drill and tap that FSB for set screws and make it work. When I buy new barrels I buy used FSBs and drill / tap the taper pin holes as well as up through the bayonet lug and the hole below the gas port, 6 set screws in all. Never had a problem. I've also heard of people just doing 2 set screws and I recently installed a virgin FSB that way but haven't shot it yet. |

(One set screw using the existing hole between the sling rivet ears and one through the bayo lug.) So far they have held fine. |
