Ever dreamed up a silly but cool-looking build? I saw Liquid Gun Works' stuff and the multicam really got me going. First I dreamed up a wannabe SAW, flecktarn-style (try and picture the lower, upper, delta ring and optics as multicam dipped, too):
(Just wondering, are extended rifle length gas systems a real thing? If so, Magpul needs to make an MOE handguard for it, damnit) Then I dreamed up something even less practical, the Endor Dissipator (ditto - lower, upper, delta ring & optics are multicam):

Then I started reading up on hydrographics and how they're are basically no tougher than paint, and well, dream interrupted. :_( But if hydrographics were tough, I'd build 'em both. No place to put a forward iron sight would not stop me from building my Endor Dissipator. But until then, damn that multicam UBR is good-looking. |
