I am thinking about building an AR and cambering it in 7.62X39 for more of a fun plinking rifle.
I am mostly wanting advice about a good bolt and barrel combination. I want good ones but not gold plated ones so to speak, it is a plinking rifle afterall.
I am also worried a little about the bolt. It seems like some have had problems ether with the reliability or breaking lugs.
Does anyone have some experience with them?

Thanks!

I had great luck with 6 VytaminC 7.62x39 enhanched BCG and barrels.
Lame name. Good products. I have used model one sales. Worked fine too. Red X Arns. Now days basically everything seems good to go. Make certain you get the enhanced firing pin and you will have 100% reliability.

I bought and assembled one of these;

I really like it I have not had one single issue with it.

I used an Alpha Shooting Sports barrel and an MGI bolt.

It's the SBR in the middle:

awesome barrel, low price. I have two of these. one set up for some 100 to 200 yd precision shooting and the other for two gun competition. they both feed perfectly and are amazingly accurate. with Golden Tiger ammo, the barrels will do 5 shot  .75 to 1.5 inch groups no problem at 100 yds.
