I'm in the process of building a 6.5 Grendel using a Seekins SP3R keymod flat bottom forearm.  I really like it and would like to look at other "flat bottom" rails, keymod or M-lok. I don't mount a bunch of stuff so the idea of no picatinny, thinner & lighter appeals to me.

Along with Seekins, I have seen the Diamondhead V-RS T and one by Trinity Force, but are there others??

I am planning my next build with a 16inch DD pencil barrel carbine length. I'm not going ultra lite but lighter than normal.

Opine??

I've got the spro3g upper. I was a little nervous about it, but it's simply awesome. Go for it and don't look back.

Thanks, but that's a bit pricey.

I also picked up a 15" SP3R V3 and it's slick looking... Besides that the shape actually fits my (admittedly medium to smaller sized) mitts quite well.  Other HG always feel just a touch to large and this one is fine.    I looked (online) at some you bring up but stuck with the seekins primarily because I'm also using a seekins upper/lower.  Didn't go for the dedicated sp3r upper though - not ready for that level of commitment.

Anyway, once it got here I was really happy with it and I'm glad I chose it.

Not to assembly stage or I'd share a picture.

I have used the Diamondhead quite a bit and really like it.  Probably the most comfortable rail I have found so far.
