Complete upper, complete lower and BCG is that all you need to build an ar that will go bang? Besides sights, mags etc.
looking to buy the parts complete for my first ar then go from there.

That pretty well covers it, most "complete" uppers will include the bcg. Check out Bravo company for a complete upper they have some great prices right now and an excellent product.
