I am wanting to purchase and have several friends that do here is my question.  We can save some money if I buy a 5 or ten pack I'm just nervous about buying them for friends,  even though I am not finishing them for them just buying in bulk to save money.  Can I still get in trouble?

not unless IL has a law against buying chunks of aluminum for friends.

They are not firearms, you can buy them for anybody you want. They are aluminun paper weights until you make them into firearms.

as long as you don't mill anything out for them, they make great stocking stuffers.

As an 80% it is a forged chunk of aluminum. That is all. A Paper weight. Until you start the machining process, It is a piece of metal. Nothing more, Nothing less.
