Depends. I had some of the early AP lowers and they were definitely not to spec.

The corners of the magwell interior were not properly machined and USGI mags would not drop free, actually required a bit of force to insert and remove mags.

They may have fixed these issues, but I won't buy another AP receiver.

I have heard of this, but the recent lowers are definitely good to go.  You would be hard pressed to find any issues noted in the new Aeros.

I do not cheap out on my lowers, and I typically go with Mega.  I have zero reason to justify my purchases, but am confident in recommending an Aero to anybody that asks if they are good go.  I even SBRd an Aero, and it is without flaw.  Many, many here will echo this.

Good looking build Alaska, has the look of an XM177.  How long a barrel is that with the flash hider?

That is a 12.5 inch barrel, the flash hider is standard length.  Picture makes it look funky

If the roll mark is not an issue then PSA and Anderson lowers are pretty cheap now.
I have both and everything fits perfectly in/on them.
Mags fit and drop right out.
Zero malfunctions.
(Except that one time where the bolt skipped over the Tul round.  )

I have built about 2 dozen lowers with Aero, Anderson, and PSA - all are good to go!
I just picked up 2 Anderson Lowers from Fat  Boy Tactical for $39 each!

I bought one about 2 years ago for a build.  No problems with it - just as good as the PSA and Anderson, but maybe not quite as nice a finish as an Aero Precision.

They make good FAL's.
I bought 2 DSA AR lower receivers and sold them before using.
Both Had large casting flashing at the rear of receiver(above grip) and front of magwell.
