I'm building a set of AR15s and have most of my build planned. One is a 200ydSDM/CQB rifle, one is a mid-range thumper, and the last is long range only. For the mid range gun I'm just going with an ALG QMS trigger. I have a Geissele DMR which could be used in one of the other two.
I haven't looked to see if there's anything new on the market in the last year or so. The SDM would be primarily used as a short-range (<200yds) precision gun, but would have a secondary purpose as last-resort CQB, so I want a trigger which could perform both functions. I think the DMR may be a good fit, but IDK. For the long-range gun(>800yds), it will be very heavy and used only for slow precision shots. I don't need any duty type trigger in this one. Maybe the DMR would be better in this one, but IDK. Which one would you use with the DMR and what would you put in the other one? |
