I can't find a good general color comparison for a variety of manufacturers. It would be nice to have a grips [or some common part] from different manufactures in a circle of FDE and another circle of ODG.

I've seen two separate photos, but you never know if the camera was set up the same. They really need to all be in one HD photo.

I'm looking in particular for FDE Mako/FAB and FDE Magpul. THIS guy claims it's FDE, but it looks green. He says it's only the lighting.

Color matching between mfgs can be hit or miss. For example, the scorched dark earth that mission first tactical uses on the minimalist stock is supposed to match the FDE that aero precision uses on their cerakoted upper/lower, but it is just a little off.

You also have to keep things mind like the finish being used and the material, i.e metal vs plastic. I say worst comes to worst you could always have your parts coated by a provider of that service. Or, you could take it on as a learning project and DIY. Good luck in your search, and if you decode to do some coating on your own keep us posted. I'm a bit interested in the process myself.
