I am building a lower and was wondering what you guys look for in a buffer tube. I found one that is made in the USA 7075 aluminum. Also is it really worth the extra money to get a pof anti-rotational style? I will be running this on a pinned 14.5 mid-length

I look for reputation for quality. Since I cannot afford to test every part on the market I tend to follow the crowd.

BCM is the gold std. IMO

Not that I ever really look at them but, I like the Spike's with the numbers on top. I have a LMT SOPMOD on my rifle.  AIM's seems to have a good price, shipped too.

BCM, nothing else. I've removed other carbine tubes to replace them with BCM. Primary component, buy once, cry once. Everything but my A2 rifle stock (Stag kit), the other rifle tube is a BCM. Believe me, I've tried the crap tubes, save grief, and money, do it one time. Oh, the one I forgot about is a stock Colt on a Colt lower I bought complete.

I use PSA lower build kits that include buffer tube Assembly's. I have nothing but good things to say about them. In spec every time. I have them on all 6 of my builds. Dont get hung up on logo engraving on buffer face. Some PSA kits have had the logo others have not. You never see your buffer face except to clean your rifle.

Just my .02 cents.
