I'm working on my first build. I'm having a tough time choosing a free float tube. It's going to be a varmint rifle with a 20" barrel, and I don't have to have a bunch of rail space. The stock, and grip are Magpul flat dark earth. I want a tube that matches well color-wise.The receivers will stay black. I want to stay as low budget as possible as the money is tied up in the barrel and optic.

From other threads on here, I'm looking at Midwest Industries and ALG. It seems like Midwest has problems with finishes scratching easily. ALG's desert dirt color seems like it's a crapshoot in terms of what the color will look like on any given piece. ALG's M-LOK series also seems to have a lot of hedges about where your rails can go without having to get a new has block.

For UTG Pro, the only FDE tube I see is 15" and no one seems to have it in stock.

I would really appreciate any insight into which of these is the better choice or if you have other suggestions.

Personally I would save up for a PRI Gen III.
