| Just installed a Vltor MUR upper on my Noveske lower. The rear take down pin is extreamly hard to get in. Pretty much have to tap it in and back out. Does the same thing on my Spikes lower. Is this common for a MUR upper? Does it just need to be broken in? |
| Same thing here. Sit down one day with a small stick or something plastic and just push it in and out about 100 times. It will loosen it up. Just remember that at that point youre dealing with tolerances of three parts. The pin, upper, and lower. Taking it in and our will help work them together. |

Quoted:
Happens randomly with any upper or lower due to small, individual imperfections from one forging to another. I wouldn't say they are imperfections but instead the lower might be towards one side of the spec and the upper might be on the other side. I think they call it tolerance stacking. |

That's the phrase I think I was looking for. Thanks. |
