Good morning

I need a sling for mine and wife's build. Both running MOE furniture. I like the MOE hand guard attachments. Both MOE buttstocks. What do you guys suggest? Dont want to spend a ton.

Thanks. Would like to stay Magpul.

I run the MOE stock on my build. Because there is no QD mount on the MOE, i ended up buying a noveske end plate with the QD mount. I use the Magpul MS3 sling, which can go from a 1 point to a 2 point very easily. I would recommend doing something like this unless you wanted to buy a new stock with a sling mount. There are ways to mount a sling to the MOE, but none that i was interested in doing.

I like the MS4. Slings are kinda personal, much like holsters. She might need to try a few before she finds one that works for. A simple and inexpensive 2 point might be the best way to start.

Ok so would the Magpul ASAP sling plate and the MSA forearm QD mounts be a good way to start? Both our barrels have the M4 sling attachment hers is not yet installed. I like the idea of a sling attachement  on the foreend.

Both barrels are 16". Mine is carbine her's is mid length

I just got the Proctor Sling, haven't tried it yet but I like the no nonsense lack of excess mounting hardware required.

That looks interesting. I like simple ideas. Can't seem to find a pic of how it attaches. Does it just attach around hand guard and MOE stock?

Thanks for the idea and for the help

After checking the Proctor Sling video on YouTube I just ordered 2 in black. Looks simple, easy and effective!

Thanks for the tip

For a military-style sling, I really like my Magpul MS3.  Its simple and easy to use, plus the little hooks are the ideal kind of attachment for an MOE handguard. - CW

I would buy a Blue Force Gear VCAS of your liking, then buy the Magpul Paraclip adapter.  Thread the one side of the VCAS through the slot that is parallel with the recoil pad.  Then use the Magpul paraclip for the side for your handguard.

I ended up making my own last year for fun and I'm poor.
