Is there anything  that can be used to touch up dings and scratches in a receiver? I can not find anything that can be used on aluminum other than paint. Carl

If you clean it well, the aluminum black will.  The black pen is just paint.

Testors flat black paint pen works pretty good also

I didn't have much luck with BC aluminum black. I had a nick where I installed the roll pin for the FA, and it did not do much there. It did darken the roll pin great, but seemed to not take to the upper too well. Perhaps I didn't prep it well enough, IDK.

use a make up sponge to apply graphite black air dry cerokote.......you won't be able to tell it from the annodizing if properly applied..........and if you store in the refrigerator it lasts a LONG time

I've had good results with it. Just make sure the area is clean and dry. For me, it's made small scratches all but disappear.

The BC aluminium black works well, but a black sharpie is faster
