Bought a Nickle Boron BCG from here over memorial day cause of the sale, I was getting other parts also.  That being said came in the mail yesterday and took it apart just like any good prior service member would.  But I was pretty shocked the BCG has carbon baked spots all over it.  Is that right?  Never had  a NiB BCG before and don't know.  I rather ask a dumb question than debate it with myself.

I just figured it would be clean, nothing is ever as shinny as the pictures show, but still.  I'll get home tonight take some pics of it again and post them.

Finally got some pics.  Really hard to get them in this lighting.  Just want to be corrected if I'm wrong, but should a brand new bolt have carbon baked around the bolt face, the grooves, on the firing pin?

either that wasn't new or the company you bought it from did some QA testing with your BCG before sending it to you. Maybe like how a new gun comes with the spent casing from the test fire in the factory?

That is not a nib bcg. If it was used for test firing it would have been quite a bit of test firing. I would contact them and ask for a replacement. What company?

I've had several NIB bcgs, and they all were shiny and clean. There were some signs of test fire, but no obvious carbon build up. I bet they sent you a returned item. Send it back.

When I bought both my XDm's I had the spent casing.  I get that.. No paperwork or anything with this.  E-mail the company yesterday haven't heard anything.  Tomorrow when time permits I'll be calling.  I want to get better pics, one of the guys in my office told me I was being critical and anal.  I said, "You were in the air force do you even know how to load a rifle?"  Anal or not, just want to get what you pay for.

ohrah.thanks for the feedback.

Very well pleased with my WMD Guns NIB BCG, didn't look anything like the pictures you posted. I would return it ASAP for a full refund.

I have bought a few things from them. They had good customer service. I would defiantly give them a call.

I second contacting them first. I have a fem NiB BCG's and carbon can bake on them just like a phosaphated one. I will say that my NiB'd ones do clean easier. One of my newer ones looked like that after only around 20 rounds.
