I just started building my lower tonight with Spikes LPK. I have the front TD pin installed and everything else except for the rear TD Pin & Buffer Retainer & Spring (Waiting on Buffer tube kit to arrive). I noticed when I got done I had what looked like 2 extra TD springs, 1 TD detent pin and 1 bolt catch buffer left. Does that sound right or normal? It got me a little concerned I used the wrong spring in the one TD pin, but I double checked and the only other spring I could've used wrong would be the selector spring. I checked that and it is the shorter/slightly fatter one I put in the grip.
Sorry for the dumb post, just want to double check with people who know. |

Only the rear pin is properly called the "Takedown Pin". As long as you're sure you've used the correct spring for the selector, then it's not uncommon to get an extra detent spring in an LPK. |
