I am trying to trouble shoot an issue and was wondering if anyone here can offer some advice. Here is the situation
Double star charging handle AIM surplus NiB BCG Spikes ST-T2 Buffer DSA buffer tube kit I install everything via a youtube video. I very lightly lubed the bcg, buffer, and spring with CLP. I cycled the gun a few times and heard a weird sound. Upon inspection the buffer had released over the stop (bent the spring and released the stopper from its spot) I replaced the buffer stopper with another spring and same thing. I don't have the time or patience to keep buying little springs and breaking them. I know dry firing is not good for a gun but how can it screw up that badly after two cycles? HELP |

HELP Dry firing is not bad for the gun. Think about it a gun is basically a controlled explosion the explosion from the bullet is far worse than anything you can do to the gun as far as dry firing. The only time you don't want to dry fire is when you have the lower separated from the upper. |
