[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 7.62 upper

Hi, I would like some info from the experts on buying/building a 7.62 upper. Do I have to change any parts in my lower to make it work? what would the best upper length be? and I have heard that there are problems with reliability in this caliber. any advise would be welcomed, thanks in advance.

I'm looking into this also. here are my top choices at the moment

BCG and Barrel

Mags

no changes to lower.

That's actually quite a good deal.

I went with the Cobtac systems 16" barrel and RCA bolt.

Also, OP do you mean the x39 or x51 version?

x39 conversions are finicky - go with a 5.45 x 39! too bad 7n6 is banned tho :(
