Work bench cleaned and organized.

Tools purchased.

Zediker's "how to" book read twice, too many video's viewed.

AR15 build parts over researched, over thought out, but purchased and ready.

I am headed to the garage.

Wish me luck.

Photo's to follow.

Shiner

As long as you have two thumbs and half a brain, you should be done in less than an hour.

OP must be enjoying his new toy too much to post pics for us.

it took me 30 minutes to put my first one together in my room with only taped up channel locks

Well, if he did break a trigger guard tab, it'd probably take a few days for him to get his repair kit in the mail...

OP lost control of a detent. Hit him right in the carotid, and he bled out over his workbench. He died doing what he loved.

His name was ShinerAR15.

I almost want to run the GOS just because it would be the antithesis of the proverbial kool aid mall/range ninja hipster build.........  I wonder if they would throw in a free BCM trucker hat........

I love you guys! The heckling  and bantering is absolutely wonderful. The truth is, can you handle he truth?, I got bitch slapped across the face with reality only moments after declaring I was headed to the garage. Crisis at work and then a minor crisis at hone. For those of you concerned all is well...still have job and I am sure wife's tooth well recover..back to AR build......swear to everything that is Holy spent three hrs in garage today. Got thru lower build. Struggled my nuggets off on getting the KNS pins on, well really only the one on the right side....but I got it! As one of you wonderful friends mentioned if I have two opposing thumbs and 1/2 of a brain it should be easy. Well I do have both thumbs, they appear to be opposing, but the brain thing.....1/2 of a normal brain? 1/2 of a teenage brain ( my kids) A 52 yr old woman brain (my wife)? Ok, so the lower is built--trigger is backwards, but seems to function fine. After early morning work mission tomorrow, goal is to finish upper, photograph and share with all of you brothers and sisters. Thx for your patience but more importantly, thx for your humor. I do not even know you yet find your humor wonderful. Ok remember "there is no such thing as a stupid question?" we'll what the hell is a gas tube? Do these things have spark plugs and carbuerators? See you soon.
