First timer over here. Got the rifle the way I want and ready to make it a lifer. Question though, scope has "Tactical Turrets" with numbers on them, okay to cover them over with paint? I mean the turrets click every .5 MOA so the only benefit I see to the numbering is to show how far in the rotation you are, correct? I can just draw a line if I want to measure a full rotation.
My plan is to remove rubber buttpad and QD swivel of the stock, tape up the trigger, ejection port, scope lens, serial number plate, and muzzle of barrel. Sound solid? Thanks |
| the only thing you need to tape is your glass.. if you have so much paint that your EJ port wont open or your muzzle is clogged, dear god you've used too much paint. if you're worried about your serial number or scope numbers take a little goof off to it, buff out the paint and they'll show through, better than big black squares |

Numbers on scope don't matter, right? Thanks |
