I would like the answer to this question. What is the best quality stripped lower that are reasonably priced? and Why that choice?

Thank you

A forged lower is a forged lower. They are all essentially the same thing when they are in spec, only differing by the name on the side. The best value is a 50 dollar blemished lower from palmetto state armory when they have them in stock. I think they are running a sale now on fully built lowers for around 150 dollars

you are asking it wrong. Best quality lower will come with high price tag.
So you should ask what is reasonable quality lowers that are reasonably priced.

This. Unless you want or need a high dollar lower, PSA blem is the way to go. For a certain marking or look if you want the beefy look of a billet lower then a lower is a lower.

Most forged lowers can be had for $75-125, blems are $50 range.

Depends what other parts you'll have on it, which would depend on what you want from your build.

If this is a PSA build, might as well get the cheapest one you can find. If you have high end parts on it and/or want a little extra peace of mind, then get better.

I'm seeing a trend on arfcom. 'You get what you pay for' is what most people believe, but not here (when it comes to firearms).

He's right. I mean even if its not a blem $30-40 more is not gonna be huge in the grand scheme of things. Too much thought being put into this. You split hairs when it comes to the trigger, barrel or a parts kit. That's my thought on this subject.

anything Aero Precision, PSA, Range Tool, or Anderson should be pretty cheap and in spec.

$60 (first quality, not a blem) Aero Precision from DOA Sales. Upper / Lower sets for $115..

I have to agree with both of them. Spikes puts out a quality product in spec, nice fit and finish, And they stand behind there product. All that and you do not have to wait 3 weeks to get it. I ordered 2 lowers from PSA on the 22nd of March, and its still processing, I live on the other side of the country from them and I have yet to get anything in less than 3 weeks. Don't get me wrong PSA also puts out good stuff at great prices, its there SLOW a$$ shipping that has many people looking elsewhere.

I would second this!  I just got my first ar lower and it is an aero precision, loving the look and feel of it.  Can't wait to start my build!

Bought all three of these during the Black Friday Sales.  Anderson's are great - with or without the integral trigger guard.  PSA blems are good. AR15Brick blems were cosmetically fine, but noticeably more difficult to assemble.  The holes felt smaller and the pistol grip screw seemed to be threading the lower for the first time -- the grip also didn't end up aligning perfectly with the lower (close enough to call it a day, but not as good as an Anderson/PSA).

Looking back on it, I think I would have rather bought two Spikes for the price of four AR15Bricks.

If you're buying in bulk, I'd go with Anderson/PSA-blem.  If you're only buying one, spring for the Spikes.

I've had good luck with Aero, DPMS, and Spikes lowers. Spikes are the least expensive where I live (in stock at LGS, no FFL transfer fees, etc...) Only thing I don't like about them is the full auto position roll marked at the back of the safety switch. Looks totally ridiculous on a gun that has about 0% chance of being full auto.

Aero or Spikes blem.  For the reasons other posters have mentioned (in spec, and you probably won't be able to find the blem).  I've used an Aero lower, and I'm picking up the Spike's no logo blem.

Spikes is GTG, but I really appreciate the effort Tactical Innovations puts into their baseline T-15 forged lowers. These can often be found for about $89 and include the following features:

1) Screw in, replaceable stainless steel bushings for hammer and trigger pins. ( No steel pin on aluminum frame wear )
2) Upper tensioning screw. ( Take up any slop between upper and lower without wedges or additional parts )
3) Rear takedown pin detent and spring are captured by a set screw, saves the time and effort of tapping the tunnel yourself. ( Keeps spring from launching if you remove stock )
4) Wire EDM magwell....square, smooth, and shaped to fit a magazine. ( No rounded corners from cutting tool radius or worn broaches )
5) Nice, even finish, holds up well.

There are other good points, as well.
I've been extremely happy with the T-15"s  used in my builds ( 8 so far ) and feel they represent a truly good value in a very crowded market. Just my two cents.

Here's a link so you can see for yourself.  Tactical Innovations T-15 Lower

Your in Az. Go to quick guns in Mesa before you buy anything online.
They have a very pleasant inventory. Bring cash or buy online and pay a $15 FFL somewhere else.

Good luck op.

Call up Quentin Defense  in Gilbert on the phone.
Ask them if they have any blem lowers in the back for sale.

Several are not listed online because they pile up blems until they have enough to make a blem sale.

Friend got his same day $80 blew mint lower.

You know, if you're in Prescott or Prescott Valley, or close, just go to J&G Sales? 10% sales tax vs. shipping + FFL fee. Weigh which one is cheaper.

But ya, just buy a Spikes. If nothing else, it will be a lot easier to sell that build, and for a higher cost, during the next scare just based off that logo on the side. Proof: A guy in my unit bought a M&P15 SPORT for $1500 during the big scare. Why? Smith & Wesson.

This is what I do. Spikes for about $70-90 at DOA Arms. Fast shipping and don't have to deal with the 30 day wait, tax and increased shipping cost from PSA.

You'll do no better than Mega when it comes to a quality forged lower. They also make Rainier Arms' forged lowers.
