I'm trying to make an ar-15 as close to the m16s used in Vietnam (though obviously not as buggy ) and I was just wondering if they had any free float hand guards that resemble one of these? http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/stock-forend-parts/forends-handguards/ar-15-round-handguards-prod5561.aspx

If I'm on the wrong track, let me know.

You want yourself a national match forearm.

service rifle under the handguards free float tubes are really made for A2 h/g's. they don't lend themselves to triangle A1's very well. i speak from evperience, it wasn't pretty. they do work very well under A2's but they ARE heavy
