Ok, I've been lurking for a few yrs. I have owned a few black guns and a couple hand guns.
My wife and I just had our son, he came extremely early and is being taken care of by the NICU.
I decided to build my son a rifle, yeah a Lil early but oh well. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how lol.

I started with a spikes lower, spikes LPK, noveske pivot and take down pins, noveske 60 degree short throw safety selector, ergo grip and noveskse quick disconnect end cap. The stock right now is a magpul but I plan on buying a tactical intent i7.
Its just a lower right now. With him in the hospital, money is tight. But it'll get done soon I hope.
Like I said I'll get pics up soon.

Update, added spikes heavy buffer and spikes upper.

I've decided on an SLR handgaurd, primary arms micro, WMD bcg and a spikes middy barrel 16".
Hopefully Friday I can finish this build up. Just waiting on parts.
I want to upgrade the trigger, but not sure which trigger yet.
Building was def not the cheapest thing to do. But I will have a really nice rifle, for my son, when its all done.

congrats on the baby boy and the build.  prayers for your son and family!  as far as the trigger rra  makes a good  two stage trigger and the spikes battle trigger is decent also unless you want a high dollar  timney  or geissele
