[ARCHIVED THREAD] - A2 front sight

Im currently building my first AR and i love the look of the A2 front sight, but my question is if all A2 front sights are also gas blocks, or just a sight that clamps onto a barrel. Any recommendations on good front A2 sights? I'm looking for one that is also a gas block for .750 diameter barrel. Hope this all makes sense

Buy a barrel with the sight block pre-installed

Make sure you get the front sight, detent and spring

Also get the sling loop and rivet

If your barrel doesn't have the a2 then give adco a call and they can install one for you...it's not a simple garage job

I second the pre drilled and installed a2 sight base/ gas block.
