I'm looking at building a side charging AR. Trying to find parts that are instock is almost impossible. Does anyone know if a Fulton Armory side charging BCG will work in a Mega Arms side charging receiver ?
Update : heard rumors of a Non Reciprocating Side Charger with forward assist ...??? |

Try these two as well, not sure if they are in stock. I just finished one that a milled myself.

When Remington bought LAR they axed LARs line of products. The Crosshill Tech is actually made by a former employee of LAR. One who has intimate knowledge of the design of the original ops4 upper. |

I thought LAR Grizzly got out of the side chargers when they got bought. I was really pleased with mine. If I was going to go the side charging route again, I'd use them in a heartbeat. |
| I have a Mega SBU side charger and purchased a side charge bolt carrier group from young manufacturing, you have to call them, i believe they usually have them in stock. Purchased mine last month. If they dont answer you have to keep trying. Bought for a 6.5 Grendel build. |

Yea good luck on the LAR, they never come back in stock that I have seen... as said above, I think think they are done with production of them.
Joe Bob's is carry the Crosshill one. I have been eye'ing one up but they are at a increased price over the LAR. Looks like a nice piece though and is on my list to top my Seekins billet upper at some point. |

Actually same price for same type. LAR made both a forged and billet ops4 upper. The forged was 300 while the billet was 400. The Crosshill is billet. |

I think their right side charging uppers still have the grove cut on the left side for left side charging. I'm not a big fan of the extra grove cut in the receiver. Just my thoughts, but I think it may take away some of the strength of the receiver ?
Looking forward to the pics. Thank you |
