I finally bought a hand gaurd yesterday and decided on the Fortis.  I have not mounted it yet as I am still short a few parts for my upper but man this thing is nice!  I can't believe how light it is!

It will be finding a home on my first build and can't wait to get The upper assembled.  The lower went together great with the exception of the trigger gaurd roll pin being a little srubborn.

I too will be buying one or two for a few select uppers, how big around is it?  Some angles it looks small and others look huge.............

Also couldn't believe how light mine was.  I think it weighed less than they said it does on their site, I believe around 8oz for the 14" version.

It's a nice rail especially for the price, I like my REV 14, but they have room to improve on. Getting rid of the rail sections at the 3 and 9 positions would make using the keymods more useful, right now all I can see my keymod slots used for is panel covers.

I'm quite sure I know what I'm seeing but I'm asking anyhow, is that a Spikes 14.5" upper you got that 14" rail on??  I like it and cant decide if I want to go the route you went or just do the 12" Middy with FSB Cutout........I like both

You are correct, I will warn you using the REV 14 (14.8") will limit your muzzle device choices.

Like I said I have not mounted it yet and I dont have any measurements on me.  I will say that it is not very wide but has some height to it, however it feels comfortable in the hand despite its aggressive looks.

I bought the 12" Version and it should look quite nice with my 16" SS Barrel under it

It's a spikes upper with pinned Dynacomp but I'm pretty sure I will go with the cutout because I want to keep two rifle with FSB's.......

That's a deleware machine lower with a psa upper. Only thing that's changed is I put a battle comp on it, and a front sight.

Only other pic I have right now.

how are you liking the angled grip? thinking about getting one myself.... kinda pricey, not too sure about comfort, but should look nice on the build.

It's alright. Not a game changer though. I need to move it back some. My mini comp makes this gun quite the blaster.
