| From the reading I have been doing around here, it seems having a punch is a good idea. Is there a certain size I should really be shooting for? Anyone have a link to a decent little punch set? Thanks guys. |

Don't know if they are cheaper anywhere else though. |

Roll pin punches and roll pin holders are good to have as well, they have a hollow tip that holds the pin until you get it started. I use the ones that brownells sells.
#2 for gas tube roll pin #3 for bolt catch roll pin #4 for trigger guard roll pin Forward assist is #2 or 3 I don't remember |

If you are placing a midway order for those punches, do yourself a favor and order the Schuster roll pin starter set. It will save you a huge headache...
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/694883/schuster-ar-15-roll-pin-starter-punch-set-2-piece-steel It is a 2 piece but each end has a hole to hold a roll pin. You will also save by not losing so many roll pins since you can never find them under your work bench (that's where the Dwarf thieves live.. waiting for your parts to fall on floor). The 2 piece set has 4 different holes for the most common used roll pins for AR builds. Just buy it. |

I 4th or 5th this ... been through lots of punches over the years. The Grace ones are a BIG step up from any I've had, well worth the few extra bucks. Also the Schuster roll pin starters are handy as well. |
