| Can you flip the standard selector (DPMS) to the other side of the rifle without modification sorry about newb question but it doesn't hurt to ask? |
| The reason for No, is the safety detent slot on the selector, you would have to machine two new detent holes and a slot in the other end of the selector, if you can look at one out of the lower, you will see what I'm talking about. It could be done but there are better choices that can be installed, several companies make ambi selectors, some even offer custom knobs, this may be the direction you want to go if you really want a right side lever. Have fun. |

Colt's makes a reversible (either / or) not ambidextrous ( both sides) part number SP63003
here (SAW) or here at Brownell's Brownell's shows it under a different number, but the picture shows grooves on both sides that makes it reversible. I've heard some lefty's complain about the "other" side of a ambidextrous hitting their trigger finger. |

I have 3 or 4 of the BAD-ASS selectors and they are sweet. Not a lot of folks want to drop that much coin on a lever though. I'm sending a standard ambi selector today. I use short-thin on weak side unless there are selector stops. On those I use the hybrid lever. I shoot rifles lefty. Quoted:

I wrote a complete review on the 45 degree ST Short Throw version which is the one I prefer. You can read it here if you would like. Link to review Not to mention that the folks at BAD provide the definition of what all customer service should be. You won't be disappointed. |
