So I am working on my first AR15, and am very overwhelmed as many are when starting this endeavor. I'm slowly buying my parts to assemble myself and wanted to double check with anyone in the community willing to help to make sure my parts will all fit together on one rifle. So I'll get right to it, here's my list of parts.

Upper

Am I way out of line with any of this, or will some of it just plain not work? Thanks in advance for anyone who checks this out.

Welcome to the site. I don't see anything wrong with the parts. The only thing I wouldn't do is buy parts. From amazon. Not knocking them, but I would just order a barrel nut from BCM or Midway. Sometimes places like amazon and eBay are known for less than quality parts.

Is there a barrel nut that would be recommended for the troy alpha rail hand guards? On the website it just says "standard barrel nut". I'm not quite sure what is standard.

Thanks again.
