So much fail. Vltor VIS not Troy. Google LMT MRP.... and how exactly is that failure, i know i asked for links to monolithic and polylithic upper, but what makes the vis such a bad upper?, why would i want the troy, or LMT? what makes them such better designs? from what i was seeing both seem to be VERY high priced, which i know price, you guys are referring me to this mfg, but WHY is a good question |

The VIS produced by Vltor is a polylithic upper. It's very well made and would serve you well. The MRP made by LMT is a true monolithic upper made from a solid block of aluminum. In my opinion it's the very best you can get. |

| LMT monolithic uppers have a quick change barrel system. Takes around 2 minutes to change a barrel. Opens up options to change barrel length or even caliber without the need for another complete upper. I have the LMT MWS and LMT MRP piston 16 and absolutely love them. There is a little weight added due to the quick change barrel system, but it's easily manageable. LMT makes top notch products and the fit and finish of both my rifles are really nice. Good luck with your decisions...chances are they will never suffice. You'll be looking at another project as soon as you get it completed. |
