Hello AR15.com,
I am currently trying to increase my gun collection by adding a personal gun put together by my very hands, well most of it..
I am looking to build an AR15 chambered in .223/5.56 but trying to keep it at around $1000 and yet end up with a very reliable mid/long range rifle, I'm fairly new to the AR building world but willing to learn and feel excited to do so.
Asking for anyone to help me chose the best parts that work with my budget. Thanks to anybody who is willing to share their insight!

Im fairly familiar with that what I'm looking for is the opinion of others. I want to know what other people can build with a $1000 budget basically.

Well if you own all the tools required. I would start at Palmetto State Armory for an upper an lower, lpk sans fcg, bcg, figure out if you want a fixed stock or collapsible stock I like the magpul crt/srt for a recce build, then sink a goo chunk of money into the barrel and optic. also I prefer CMC triggers just my opinion. Im not sure how much of a recce buid you can get with optic for 1k. If you just want a scope AR that can be one for under 1k.

For now I'm only trying to build it, as far as sights go scopes, acog, red dot, etc. it all can wait regular flip up sight which I already own are fine for now...
You got to have a collapsable stock in my opinion, since its is so versatile. As for the cmc triggers don't know much about them but will take in consideration. Thanks!
