| So I finished a pistol build and It had an a2 flash hider on it. I swapped it out for a yhm flash comp. I am wondering who makes the loudest comp out there. Just want to piss off the fudd at the range. |

I have had a few comps to include the standard PWS FSC556 and a Spikes Dynacomp but this one from PWS was so loud I had to take it off: http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=88&idcategory=6
It was uncomfortably loud but if that is what you are looking for then that would be my vote. |

The bcm is not much louder than a standard flash hider to me. I just put a gamma 556 on and its perty loud though I think the PWS is louder.
I have a quality Decibel meter. I may get out there and measure some of these comps from different positions if I ever actually have the time to waste. |

I wish NJ would wake the fuck up and allow suppressors, but I can't see that happening in my lifetime

Everyone says this I find it do be not much louder then the A2 with more concussion.I had my father shoot it next to me to see. You think that's bad my AMD65 that's a nasty brake.Its on a 14.5 if that matters. Not trying to step on your toes its just my opinion. |

The absolute worst hereabouts are those with overbore Weatherby cartridges and muzzle brakes who set up shop and proceed to drive out all the nearby shooters. Be careful who you try to piss off. The guy you think you can run off might just go to his truck and come back with something that will blow you clean off the range, only he was too nice to bring it out becaue there were other people at the range.
At the range I use to shoot at there were six firing stations under roof. Some guy, such as yourself, set down right next to me with his rife with brake even though all benches were open. He did it just to be a jerk and pretty much made it known he was doing it on purpose. OK, I can be a jerk too. I got out my 12 inch .50 Alaskan Encore with three port fish-gill brake. He moved away after the first group I shot. What a lovely day at the range, two dick-heads in a pissing match. I'm still embarrased I reacted that way now that I have matured a little more. |

Any brake is loud but the miculek is down right cruel. |
