I am going to be buying an 80% lower and jig, I was curious about where I would be able to get them both (from the same manufacturers) for the least amount of money. I'd prefer it to already be black anodized. Thanks!

Don't know anything about them at this point.  Friend bought one and is doing a build.  I guess we'll see.  I don't really like the finger grooves on the front of the mag well, but other than that it looks like a deal.

Still a unproven design, IMHO, I would stick with a proven and reputable company like KE Arms.

Some of the polymer lowers out there have failed under certain conditions with anything higher
powered than a .22LR...Perhaps the newer designs and materials being used will avoid those
failures, but who knows, until it has proven to work under continuous firing for at least 5K rounds
or more with higher powered cartridges like the: 6.5mm PCC, 6.5mm Grendel/.264 LBC, 6.8mm
SPC II, .300 BLK, 7.62x40 WT, .450 Bushmaster, .458 SOCOM, and .50 Beowulf, then I would
be a believer.

The prices have come back down for 80% PCR's and you can pick-up some nice Forged/Billet
7075-T6 Paperweights for about the same price as the new Poly's...

Just go with a established company that has the lowers/jigs in stock, I would not trust any of the
recent "Rocket Hub" vendor's out there, I have yet to see a single person that has ordered from
them receive there order...They seem to be a scam for the most part, especially when you consider
the ridiculous low price points they claimed for a lower (just a 7075 Billet Block cost about $30 or
more) then add labor and tooling etc., there just no way it can be done even at high volume and
still make a profit.

JMHO, YMMV. Good Luck.

I found http://www.tacticalmachining.com/80-products/80-receivers/80-ar-15-lower-receiver.html . Does anyone know an inexpensive jig that would work on it? Also, after I do the drilling and complete it, what would I do to anodize or put a protective coat on it?

Try Quentin-Laser.  Nice billet lowers.  My Colfax jig worked just fine with this lower after a very minor modification.

I'm looking at shop.lower80 and sierranevadaarms right now. For drills, would this be good for it? http://www.harborfreight.com/garage-shop/stationary-drill-press/5-speed-bench-drill-press-60238-9067.html

Don't skimp out on the endmills and drill bits, buy US, English, Swiss, German, Japanese, or French made tools whenever possible...they
will last much longer, cut better, will stay sharper, and give you a much more accurate cut. Yeah I know they will cost two to three times
more than the Chinese made junk, but it is worth it in the long run.

Matt,  my appologize for not being easier to contact.  We spend most of our time away from the phone when at the shop.  Its just two of us running the show which helps keep cost down.  As a note our phone number is on the site under contact us 910-398-4301.  Leave a message and we will return it, or email us at [email protected].

Thanks for choosing to purchase one of our lowers.  We have live stock on the site and as long as it says "in stock" it will usually ship same or next day.  Don't forget to go to the AR Disscussion forum and enter in the giveAway contest we have going on.  Also we run alot of coupons on our facebook page.
