| While installing my forward assist, i noticed when i push the roll pin in more than 1/3 or 1/2 way in it'll stop the button from moving forward. When i insert a 1/16 punch in, it holds the button in place and allows it to move forward and back. The roll pin won't. I think it may be too big in diameter. Any thoughts/suggestions? |
| What is happening is the roll pin is binding slightly against the FO as it is being driven in. Make sure you are putting the FO in correctly, the assist has one side which is narrower to allow the FO to move forward. I will start the Pin in and tap the FO slightly to make sure it isn't binding before I drive it in the rest of the way. It should move forward and backward with the pin holding it from the top. |

After the 14th time or so, of taking it out and putting it in, I finally got it to work. Thanks for theadvice |
