My last rifle was for my wife about a year ago.

A buddy wanted me to build him one so this is his...it has awaken my BRD though

Many thanks to nolan7120 for letting me use his YHM wrench and handguard alignment tool!!

Specs:
PSA stripped lower
PSA lower build kit
BCM stripped blemished upper
BCM 16" barrel
YHM 5c2 flash hider/compensator
YHM lightweight rifle length rail
YHM flip up sights
Troy low profile gas black
BCG from PSA package deal(mpi, hpt)
BCM gunfighter charging handle (large latch)

I think I'm going to need to invest in one of those handguard alignment tools... haven't looked into them yet, but I'm guessing it clamps on to the rail on the upper and the one on the handguard?

yep...and then you just slowly tighten the tool and it orients the handguard to the upper...worked really well

yep...and then you just slowly tighten the tool and it orients the handguard to the upper...worked really well


Hm... $60 seems to be the going price.  Might be worthwhile, unless I can make something on my own.
