Whats the difference between the Gen 2 vs Mod 2 besides appearance?

I think the gen 2 are stronger than the mod 2 I have the KNS spikes Tactical version in all my builds they are supposedly the strongest of them all.

Just don't use them if you have a geissele trigger. You will mess up your $250 trigger with an unnecessary $20 accessory.
