im a Surefire mb556k kind of guy but thinking of trying something out on new build need help deciding some info from some fellow friends would be great

Surefire mb556k

Battle Comp 2.0

Rainier Arms

BCM

UPDATE
decided to try out Rainier Arms Xtc its cheap and looks good so why not

Update 6/7/13

shot the new build today and 100%, the xtc shot very well and for the price i dont think you can beat it if your looking for a comp and you are looking to spend under 75 bucks, shot next to a PWS and have to say the pws and the xtc as for muzzle rise were very similar, but the PWS had way more side concussion and louder.

as compared to my Surefire middy, surefire is def a little better at muzzle rise, but as far as side concussion i would say they are the same

final words

Want to spend more money on ammo and get a cheaper brake i would go XTC, looking for best you can get Surefire, im going to leave the xtc on this build for a little bit longer and get more shooting out of it

its on a BCM 16 middy

i went with a shorter length brake,,,i just prefer less metal hanging out there....i also dont think 556 recoil is such that i need fancy brakes, but its a personal pref thing.

Brembo and/or Hawk.

stick with a short brake, unless a supressor is in your future.  Then the obivious choice is surefire.

Seekins, rolling thunder, sjc Titan, miculek, surefire mb556, pws fsc. Pick one and like it, great for clearing up the line

I run Surefire, PWS, and Seekins ...

If you don't have a PWS brake ... I'd go that route next ...

You'll like the Rainier, was out to the range on Saturday and scared the living crap out of the guy next to me... The look on his face was priceless.

Not too many gear heads on here, I guess.

Make sure you tell us how you like the XTC vs the MB556K.  I have my suspicions on what you'll think, but I don't want to add any bias to what you're trying out.

LOL! No, I'm just so used to hearing Brembo and brakes in the same sentence, I didn't even think about it! Hahaha.

Anybody have any experience with the Precision Armament M4-72?  I would obviously like my muzzle device to be functional, but since the only real way to evaluate these things is to use them, and .223 doesn't exactly hurt to shoot...I started basing my search on looks...and this one looks pretty sweet.  Any real world experience would be nice though.
