| I was initially going to go with a FSB up front so I had bought the MOE Handguard already. Then I decided to use a gas block with a rail built in that was the same level as the upper receiver rail. Then as I was installing everything I realized that the gas block was aluminum on a steel barrel. So in order to avoid material expansion issues I decided to just go with the DD Low Pro gas block in case I want to go to a free float quad rail in the future. I actually kind of like the clean look as it is now and I can add the MBUS front sight right to the top of the handguard if I need to. :D |
